Congratulations to two NJPC Youth Coalition Members

Congratulations to two NJPC Youth Coalition Members, Dallas Crosby and Karlee Frazier, who helped to save 90-year-old retired Russian Orthodox priest from his burning home in Netcong house fire. From the reporter: They weren't braggarts by any stretch, very humble. I really feel the kids saved the man's life; I don't think anyone, particularly a 90-year-old man, could have lasted long in the smoke-filled home. Thank God they were there and cared. See front page article at HERE.

New Jersey Youth Coalition Members Meeting with Senator Pou

In January, members of NJPC's New Jersey Youth Coalition and Parents Coalition of Justice-Involved Youth met with Senator Pou in reference to certain reforms in the juvenile justice system(S2003). Both parents and youth worked hard to prepare for this moment for weeks. They are determined to make an impact and continue to work with the legislative community in reference to their upcoming presentations and testimonies.

NJPC Youth Coalition Holds First Basketball Fundraiser

The Basketball Tournament was held in Lake Hopatcong, NJ and there were about 50 fans rooting for the teams. The Coalition also sold refreshments and received donations from the local Dunkin Donuts and Pathmark. The Coalition is raising money to send two members to the Federation of Families Conference in Washington, DC.
