Comments On The Community Outreach Tour
I appreciate the time, dedication and commitment of each and every one of you not only on behalf of the New Jersey Parents' Caucus but on behalf of myself and my son, Bryan, as East Orange residents.
You all did an exceptional job today in representing the mission and vision of our organization and I can tell you that I truly had an uplifting experience with an intake, when the parent became emotional because I advised her that not so long ago I was walking the path which she walks now. That lets her know that HOPE is but a stone's throw away. In fact, Bryan spoke to her about how his "new" medication has allowed him to focus and redirect his attention. This is why it's important to involve our YOUTH, they have valuable stories that lend credence to our mission !
