Learner's Academy For Children
NJPC is
proud to introduce
"The Learner's Academy for Children" (LAFC).
LAFC is a collaborative program between The New Jersey Parents' Caucus and
Chenault's Taekwondo, funded by the New Jersey Department of Education and
designated as a New Jersey State Supplemental Service Provider.
LAFC incorporates a strength-based family model and is FREE to all families
whose children are attending Title I Schools in Passaic, Essex, Union, and
Middlesex counties. Services include:
. academic enrichment/tutoring
. martial arts
. cultural awareness
. dedicated parent advocacy, including IEP support
. parent support group
. parent education and training
Services are provided to both special and regular education students in grades
1 through 8. Students attend LAFC for 11 hours per week, including Tuesday and
Thursday tutorial sessions and Saturday Enrichment program (tutorial session,
karate, cultural awareness and lunch). Transportation and meals are provided
for students, as well as parents attending parent support group meetings and

to avoid attending, he doesn't resist getting up early on a Saturday
